International Rectifier has launched the IRS2052M 2-Channel Class D Audio IC for home theater systems and car audio amplifiers. The 200 V device integrates two channels into a single IC. Features include selectable deadtime and programmable bi-directional over-current protection, integrated clock oscillator and click-less start and stop.

The IRS2052M is optimized to work with IR’s range of digital audio MOSFETs addressing output power from 50W to 300W. A datasheet and application note are available on the International Rectifier website. The devices are MSL2 Industrial qualified and RoHS compliant.
