200mA LDO regulators 17-04-08

Toshiba Electronics Europe has expanded its family of low drop out (LDO) voltage regulators with a series of CMOS devices. Available with output voltages from 1.5V to 5.0V, devices in this LDO regulator family (TCR5SBxx series) deliver a maximum output current of 200mA and are supplied in a SOT25 (SMV) package. The LDO regulators have a typical quiescent current of 40µA and a dropout voltage of 85mV (at 50mA). The ripple rejection (RR) of 80dB at 1kHz is independent of output voltage.

This makes the LDO especially suitable for power supply applications that are very sensitive to variations in supply voltage (e.g. RFICs). Additionally, without external noise bypass capacitors an ultra-low output noise voltage (VNO) rating of 30µVrms - independent of output current - is achieved. The regulators are dedicated for power supply solutions in Bluetooth devices, cameras, personal audio players, mobile phones and other portable and handheld battery-powered applications. All products in the TCR5SBxx series offer an on/off control function and built in overcurrent protection.
