3-Pin DC/DC Converter Modules 07-09-11

Rohm presents its new DC/DC Converter module BP5277 family. The series features a max. 36V input voltage converter module, which allows for applications with larger equipment. While providing high input voltage, the new BP5277 series also facilitates high energy-savings. Besides a high efficiency conversation ratio of up to 93% (for 24V -> 15V), it achieves high output voltage accuracy of ±2%. The line-up includes six different output voltage types (3.3V/5.0V/9.0V/12.0V/13.0V/15.0V).

With particular attention paid to heat dissipation performance, the BP5277 Series considerably minimizes required mounting area. A heat sink is mounted on the back of the module and combined with a special structure that dissipates heat directly from the heating element, eliminating the need for thermal design. This enables a maximum output current of 500mA without requiring any external heat sink while mounting a heat sink permits a maximum output current of 800mA.

The BP5277 series is available from mass production line.
