Agere names new chief for Mobility Engineering 07-12-04

Dr. Hans-Joachim Dittloff

The new vice president of engineering for its Mobility division at Agere Systems is Dr. Hans-Joachim Dittloff. The Mobility division is a supplier of silicon and software solutions for GPRS/EDGE and 3G wireless handsets. Dittloff joins Agere from Infineon Technologies, where he was the chief operating officer of the Secure Mobile Solutions Group. Previously he served as senior vice president, sales and marketing for Infineon's Wireless Group. Prior to his tenure at Infineon, Dittloff held leadership positions focused on communications, satellite and vehicle navigation and mission control systems at Sican Group, Temic and STN Atlas Elektronik. His office is located in Munich.
