Agilent will purchase assets of the optical transceiver test segment of PXIT. That company, based in Lexington, Mass., is a provider of signal integrity testing solutions for broadband optical transceiver manufacturers. Financial details were not disclosed. Agilent will make offers to all of PXIT's Lexington-based employees. PXIT was formed through the merger of Tsunami Photonics with PX Instrument Technology and more recently with FiberGrade. Only two weeks ago Agilent announced the acquisition of Acquiris in Switzerland.
