Instrumentation company Agilent Technologies will purchase the Californian Scientific Software (SSI) for an undisclosed sum. SSI develops tools for process management, for chromatography data systems, for data acquisition and instrumentation control. With 80 employees it achieved a turnover in 2004 of more than 18 million US$. Agilent intends to integrate the SSI team into its own company.
