Arrow Electronics announced the availability of its BeMicro SDK Motor Control kit for developing a motor-control design within a single FPGA device. The kit offers an evaluation platform for simple motor-control designs as well as countless embedded and industrial applications. The kit comes complete with DC and stepper motors, reference designs and step-by-step instructions to evaluate and design an FPGA-based motor-control system.
Created for industrial embedded engineers, the BeMicro SDK Motor Control kit provides hands-on learning to apply common motor-control concepts using Altera's intuitive FPGA design tools and methodology.
Arrow Electronics is conducting hands-on workshops globally, with demonstrations of the new solution. Attendees will learn how to develop and implement their own motor-control algorithms and applications in Altera FPGAs. More than 40 workshops are planned throughout North America, Asia and Europe starting in August 2011.
