Avago Technologies reported financial results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2011. The fourth quarter net revenue (GAAP) was a record $623 million, an increase of 3 percent compared with the previous quarter, and up 9 percent from the same quarter last year. Net income was $154 million. This compares with net income of $144 million in last quarter, and net income of $164 million in the same quarter last year.

The fiscal year 2011 net revenue grew 12 percent to $2.3 billion when compared to fiscal year 2010. GAAP net income was $552 million. This compares with GAAP net income of $415 million in fiscal year 2010.
