Avnet Abacus has expanded its team in Germany with the appointment of Guido Ullrich as Key Account Manager for Central Europe. Ullrich, who will be based in Poing near Munich, has over 20 years experience in the areas of Sales and Marketing. He will report to Michael Knappmann, Regional Director for Central Europe.
Prior to his appointment Ullrich worked for the distributor Sasco which belongs to the Arrow group. During his 11 years there he spent three years as Sales Director. Before joining Sasco Ullrich spent three years at Farnell as Franchise Manager and Regional Sales Manager. Prior to that he held positions with Astronic, CED Ditronic and Elkose.
