The Memec Group taken over in April by Avnet will be relaunched together with the Avnet subsidiary WBC under the new name of Avnet Memec. The new company belongs to Avnet EM EMEA and will be led by Franz Zimmermann and Klaus Müller. Zimmermann comes from Memec and will act as President. Müller, the previous WBC President, will be responsible at Avnet Memec as Managing Director for Technology and Marketing.
