Bsquare, a software solutions provider to the embedded device community, announced the appointment of Mark McMillan as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. McMillan founded Softworks Development Corporation while a student at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee for Computer Science. He served as President of Softworks for 10 years.
He later served as the VP and GM of North American Operations for Phoenix Technologies. At Insignia Solutions, a public embedded software company specializing in embedded Java and mobile device management solutions, McMillan served as CEO and architected the company's sale to Smith Micro Software, where he assumed the position of Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
