BSQUARE, a enabler of smart, connected devices, announced the expansion of its European operations and the hire of a new regional vice president. This European expansion builds upon the enhanced sales, support and development services in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region that BSQUARE announced in December 2010.
The company's new vice president and general manager, Europe region, Morten Dahl Iversen, will be responsible for advancing sales growth. Iversen joins the company from Force Technology and brings more than 16 years of experience in the embedded software industry to BSQUARE. Before joining Force Technology, Iversen was the founder of TTPCom Danmark, a company later acquired by Motorola.
Iversen also held a vice president of business development position at RTX Telecom and various management positions with Siemens and Bosch Telecom. The BSQUARE regional expansion will continue with additional sales and support staff to be hired in Germany and the United Kingdom in 2011, providing the company's multinational OEM and ODM clients with access to local resources and enabling regional growth for the organization.
