Cadence announced the appointment of John Bruggeman as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. He reports directly to Cadence president and chief executive officer Lip-Bu Tan. Bruggeman most recently served as chief marketing officer at Wind River Systems. Before joining Wind River he was vice president of marketing at Mercury Interactive. Bruggeman has also held senior executive marketing positions at America Online, Netscape, and Octel Communications.
