With Invarium, Cadence has taken over a producer of lithography-modeling and pattern synthesis technology situated in San Jose. The technologies of the company, founded in 2003, enable photomask design and process optimization, encompassing the entire manufacturing-process flow from mask making to lithography and etch, with industry-leading speed. The takeover was completed on the 10th of July. Further details were not published.
