The company OKW Gehäusesysteme GmbH from Buchen, Germany, had developed a four-part range of products specially designed for the use of graphics-capable displays. In order to protect the later terminal units from mechanical damage, OKW has also developed a cover panel, the so-called Protector, made of thermoplastic elastomer in the standard colour volcano grey (NCS 5502-G). To securely deposit the unit on the desk top, or for purposes of charging, there is now also a special base available. The bases have sufficient installation volume to accommodate the necessary charging and transmission electronics.
