C&D Technologies announced that Mr. Leonard P. Kiely has been named Vice President and General Manager, Power Systems Division, effective Monday, June 5, 2006. Mr. Kiely joins C&D from Precision Castparts, a manufacturer of components serving the aerospace, power generation, automotive and general industrial markets, where he served most recently as the Vice President, Business Development. Prior to his current role, he served as President of the Precision Tool Group with Precision Castparts. He previously served for over eight years with SPS Technologies prior to its acquisition by Precision Castparts.
