The turnovers of the circuit board manufactures in Germany in February 2007 were 7% lower in comparison to the previous month. As February only had 20 working days, lower values are usual according to the VdL (Printed Circuit Board Association), and ZVEI (German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association) Division Electronic Components and Systems. In comparison to February 2006, the achieved turnover was approximately 5% lower. In comparison to February 2005, however, the turnover was increased by 6%. Cumulated, the turnover volume of the current year is at the same level as the previous year. The number of employees increased by 2.6% in comparison to the previous month.
