The electronica 2008, with 2,800 exhibitors showing their wares, ended last friday. 58% of them were foreign exhibits. Two years ago there were 2,961 exhibitors of which 60 percent were international. On the visitor side, the fair company registered approximately 72,000 trade visitors. This time the fair had more visitors from Eastern European countries, from Taiwan, Brazil, South Africa and Russia than in the past. But there were fewer visitors this year from the USA, Great Britain, France and Israel. In 2006 the count was 77,748 visitors.
