Cree announced revenue of $304.1 million for its second quarter of fiscal 2012, ended December 25, 2011. This represents an 18% increase compared to revenue of $257.0 million reported for the second quarter of fiscal 2011 and a 13% increase compared to the first quarter of fiscal 2012. GAAP net income for the second quarter of $12.1 million, decreased 76% year-over-year compared to GAAP net income of $49.8 million, for the second quarter of fiscal 2011.

Financial results for the second fiscal quarter reflect the inclusion of Ruud Lighting for the entire period. Ruud Lighting was acquired by Cree in august 2011.
