Epson announced the S1D13702, its second display controller for car electronics and amusement systems with organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays. The S1D13702 offers improved functionality over its predecessor the S1D13701. The product supports OLED panels with 260,000 colors, fast response speed and overlapping displays. When used with 256 dot x 64 line x 6bpp (260,000 colors) panels, the controller chip supports fast-moving video images.
