Dr. Gunther Kegel, has been voted again as Chairman of the Section Switchgear, Control Gear and Industrial Controls of the Automation Segment of the ZVEI Association

The ZVEI - Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie [German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturer’s Association] reports that the growth of turnover of factory automation in the first 6 months of 2007 grew by more than 10% compared to the same period of the previous year. The number of employees in the industry grew by a good 9% to more than 93,000.

Dr. Gunther Kegel, the chairman of Pepperl+Fuchs GmbH has been voted for a further three years as Chairman of the “Section Switchgear, Control Gear and Industrial Controls” of the Automation Segment of the Zvei. Also confirmed in their offices as deputies were Roland Bent, Phoenix Contact and Martin Siegers, Siemens AG. Added to the circle of deputies was Karl-Heinz Meisen, Sick AG.
