EADS man appointed as Thales-Germany chief 15-01-08

Dr. Markus Hellenthal has been named to be the CEO of the German subsidiary of the Thales armament company from the 1st of March 2008. At the same time he will become a director of the Division Security Solutions & Services of Thales-Germany. Hellenthal is currently Senior Vice President at EADS. In this function he carries responsibility for the Business Development of the Security business segment of the EADS group. In Germany Thales employs approximately 4700 people at over 20 sites.
