Elonics announced that David Milne has been appointed Chairman of the company. This is the first new board position that David Milne has accepted since stepping down as CEO to a non-executive role within Wolfson Microelectronics in 2007 (as co-founder, he had previously taken Wolfson Microelectronics from a university spinout to the FTSE 250). Earlier this year he also invested in Elonics as part of the company’s series A funding round. Elonics is a fabless mixed-signal semiconductor company specialising in the design and development of multi-band radio frequency (RF) IC products. Founded in 2003 and based in Livingston, United Kingdom, Elonics has developed an innovative radio frequency architecture called DigitalTune that will be the foundation for a family of re-configurable CMOS RF front end products.
