Today in Nürnberg, Germany did start the embedded world exhibition&Conference 2005. At 11,250 square meters are over 480 exhibitors from 24 countries (2004: 399 exhibitors from 23 countries) on site. 36 % of the exhibitors have travelled from abroad to present their products to the trade visitors. The show is convincing with its conference programme and special shows like the Experience Area Automotive. Outstanding technical innovations in embedded technologies have again been selected for the embedded Award by an independent jury of experts at embedded world 2005. This year’s prize-winners are CONTEC (category: Hardware), aicas (category: Software) and Lauterbach Datentechnik (category: Tools).
