Emi withdraws claims against Harting 27-10-11

Hartings Produktreihe har-flex

Emi has withdrawn its April 2011 claim filed in the District Court of Cologne against Harting KGaA. The subject of the claim was the marketing of the "har-flex" products by Harting, which Emi saw as an unauthorized copy of its SMC plug connection family. After the actual oral hearing Harting sees itself fully vindicated that its unique characterization of the har-flex products with the Harting logo is legal.

Also the legality of the international marketing of the har-flex product series is no longer disputed by Emi. It is proven that Harting in the development has taken all patents or other business protective rights into account. During the course of the oral hearing and the withdrawal of the complaint, the case is closed.
