Toshiba Electronics Europe brings an emulator for the development of applications based on the company’s TLCS-870/C 8-bit microcontrollers. The  RTE870/C Light real-time emulator is a development tool comprising emulator, debugger, emulation chip, probe and target connector. All of the emulation functionality - including the 64kb emulation memory, interfaces for the MCU probe and the connection to the host system - is housed in an unit measuring 120mm x 100mm x 30mm.

The RTE870/C Light emulator is compatible with Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems and connects to the host PC via a USB2.0 full-speed interface. Maximum emulation frequency is 16MHz.

The price of the RTE870/C Light includes the cost of the debugger software licence. The latest version of the debugger software can be downloaded from the Toshiba website.
