Texas Instruments ended the business year 2010 with a turnover of 13.97 billion US$ and a net profit of 3.23 billion US$. In comparison to the previous year the turnover rose by 33,9% and the profit by more than double. The turnover was increased in the segment of Analogue by 42% and in the segment Embedded by 41%; the Wireless segment by 13% and the remainder by 38%.
The 4th quarter ended with a turnover of 3.53 billion US$ and a net profit of 942 million US$. Compared to Q4/2009 the turnover was increased by 17.3% and the profit climbed by 43.8%. Distributed by segments the growth in turnover was 20% for Analogue, 31% for Embedded, 1% for Wireless and 23% the remainder.
