For approximately 10 m Euro, Epcos has bought the development segment “High Frequency Micro-Electro-Mechanical Modules” from NXP. Among others, this segment provides the electronically controlled couplings of amplifiers and antennae for multi-band mobile phones. Epcos expects an extra turnover of several 100 m Euro from this investment.
