Silica has released the Xilinx Virtex-4 LX25 Evaluation Kit. The Virtex-4 family is the first embodiment of the ASMBL columnar architecture from Xilinx. The Evaluation Kit includes schematics, user's guide, bill of materials, wall mount USA power supply (5V) and a board support package. The kit offers Ethernet, USB 2.0 and Serial interfaces and additional expansion capability via daughter cards connected to the AvBus backplane.
