In the 3rd business quarter, Fairchild Semiconductor achieved an overall turnover of 426.8 m US$. In the same quarter of the previous year, the turnover was 417.0 m US$. However, the profit was reduced from 25.1 m US$ to 20.3 m US$. This reduction was due, among others, to a provision of 7.8 m US$ for a current court case.
