Epcoslaunched the series of X2 capacitors covering the upper capacitance range from 1.0 to 10 microfarad. They are suited for applications such as filters, drives and UPS that require large capacitance values. In addition, the compact C and D versions now extend the X2 range with types rated at 10 nanofarad to 1.0 microfarad. Dimensions vary with capacitance from 4mm x 9mm x 13mm (for 10 nanofarad) to 12mm x 22mm x 26.5mm (for 1.0 microfarad). The film capacitors are designed for a maximum operating voltage of 310 VAC and ambient temperature of 125 °C. They have been approved according to IEC 60384-14 (ENEC-VDE), UL 1414, UL 1283, CSA 22.2 No. 1 and No. 8 (c-UL) and CQC-GB/T 14472-98 (CQC).
