The first quarter 2005 of EDA provider Mentor Graphics showed a turnover of 164.3 M US$ with a net loss of 4.4 M US$. The turnover remained constant in comparison to the first quarter of 2004. However, a net profit of 2.2 M US$ was achieved. 45 % of the turnover was made in the USA, 25 % in Europe, 20 % in Japan and 10% in the Pacific area.
