First quarter 2007 at Molex 20-10-06

Molex reported revenue for the quarter ended September 2006 was $829.5 million, an increase of 25.7% over the same period last fiscal year. Revenue increased 5.8% sequentially from the quarter ended June 2006. On August the company completed the acquisition of Woodhead Industries, which accounted for $33.5 million of revenue in the September quarter. Revenue growth excluding Woodhead was 20.6%. Net income for the September quarter was $76.8 million, an increase of 64.5% over the same period last fiscal year. Net income for the September quarter rose 9.1% sequentially from the quarter ended June 2006. The Woodhead Industries acquisition accounted for $1.0 million of net income in the September quarter.
