First quarter 2007 at Qimonda 25-01-07

In the fourth quarter of the business year 2007, Qimonda achieved a turnover of 1.17 bn Euro. This corresponds to an increase of 73% compared to the same period of the previous year but a decrease of 5% compared to the previous quarter. The Ebit In the first quarter of the 2007 business year climbed by 16% to 250 m Euro compared to an Ebit of 215 m Euro in the fourth quarter of the 2006 business year and compared to a negative Ebit of 123 m Euro in the first quarter of the 2006 business year. The company profit rose to 177 m Euro compared to 156 m Euro in the same period of the previous quarter. In the comparable period of the previous year, the company made a loss of 127 m Euro. The memories producer Qimonda was hived off from Infineon Technologies on the 1st of May 2006.
