Infineon has presented the results of the first quarter of the business year 2008. The turnover without Quimonda was 1.09 bn Euro and thus 3% below the value of the previous quarter but 14% above the comparable value of the previous year. Thus, the turnover in the segment of Communication Solutions and the segment of Automotive, Industrial & Multimarket has declined. The EBIT without Quimonda in the first business quarter was 65 m Euro and therefore above the value of minus 25 m Euro in the previous quarter.

Results of the Infineon Company

The company turnover in the first business quarter of 2008 was 1.60 b Euro and the company loss was 362 m Euro. The EBIT was minus 368 m Euro.
