Zilog reported results for its 2009 fiscal year first quarter. Sales were $18.2 million, a sequential and year-over-year increase of 8 percent. The net loss was $1.7 million, and was lower than the previous quarter loss of $1.9 million and lower than the net loss of $3.0 million for the fiscal first quarter a year ago.
