In the first quarter of 2007, instrumentation manufacturer Agilent achieved a turnover of 1.29 b US$ and generated a profit of 150 m US$. In comparison to Q1/2006 the turnover rose by 9.4 %. The profit then was 2.82 billion US$ of which 1.84 billion was from the sale of the semiconductor segment.
