In the first three months of this year, Philips Semiconductor had a turnover of 1.012 B Euro and an operative profit of 14 M Euro. This turnover is 3 % below that of the previous year and 25 % below that of the fourth quarter of 2004. Also the operative profit was reduced. Compared with Q1/2004, this reduction amounts to 80 % and is 70 % in comparison to Q4/2004. The turnover was divided into region as follows: Asian, Pacific: 62%, EMEA 29%, USA 8% and Latin America 1%.
