Arrow Electronics reported first quarter 2010 net income of $87.0 million on sales of $4.24 billion, compared with net income of $26.7 million on sales of $3.42 billion in the first quarter of 2009.

Global components sales of $3.13 billion increased 33 percent year over year. Global enterprise computing solutions ("ECS") sales of $1.11 billion increased 3 percent year over year, marking the first year-over-year increase in sales since the fourth quarter of 2008.
