Tyco Electronics reported results for the fiscal fourth quarter and full-year 2008. The company reported net sales of $3.7 billion for the fiscal fourth quarter, an increase of 6 percent over the prior-year period. The net income was $202 million. For the full-year net sales were $14.8 billion, an increase of 14 percent over the prior year. The net income was $1.78 billion, compared with a net loss of $554 million in 2007.
