Fluke (Danaher Group) has bought the infra-red thermometer manufacturer Ircon for 35 m US$. Ircon belonged to the English Spectris Group, which also include, among others, the Danish Brüel & Kjaer and the German Sensor and instrumentation specialist HBM. After acquiring Raytek, Fluke has added a second “Temperature Instrumentation” company with Ircon.
