Fortec takes over Autronic 20-04-07

On the 1st of May 2007, Fortec Elektronic intends to take over the Autronic Steuer- und Regeltechnik Company in the course of a so-called Asset Deal. Autronic was founded in 1973 in Ludwigsburg in Germany and produces customer-specific DC/DC converters. In 1988 the company moved into its works in Sachsenheim and opened a production facility in the Czech Republic in 1996. In 2006 Autronic had a turnover of 5 m Euro. Fortec, founded in 1984, produces power supplies, displays and embedded computers. In the years 2005/2006 it had a turnover of 45 m Euro with an annual profit of 1.68 m Euro.
