Net sales in the second quarter of 2005 were $1.47 billion, compared to $1.44 billion in the first quarter of 2005 and $1.46 billion in the second quarter of 2004.

Net earnings for the second quarter of 2005 were $122 million, compared to $85 million in the first quarter of 2005 and $43 million in the second quarter of 2004. Net earnings for the second quarter of 2005 included $5 million of separation expenses. Restructuring charges and separation expenses were $18 million in the first quarter of 2005 and $39 million in the second quarter of 2004.
