Fuel cell technologies: Hydrogen Expo US 2006 10-08-05

The next Hydrogen Expo US will held on March 12 to 14, 2006 in Long Beach, CA as part of the National Hydrogen Association's (NHA) Annual Hydrogen Conference. Around 100 exhibitors are expected to present the latest in hydrogen production, storage and infrastructure technology, fuel cell design and integrated systems. Exhibits will include hydrogen generators, storage vessels, hydrogen engine technology, fuel cell materials and components, and complete systems for home heating and power supply, auxiliary power units, portable fuel cell systems and fuel cell vehicles.

BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Honda and Quantum are among the manufacturers to display vehicles inside the exhibit hall and as part of the "Ride & Drive" organized by the NHA. Exhibitors such as Air Products, BOC, Chevron, and Linde will present hydrogen fuel production and supply chain technology. Fuel cell developers participating at Hydrogen Expo US include Hydrogenics and UTC Fuel Cells who manufacture hydrogen fueled systems for stationary and mobile applications.

Already in its 17th year, the NHA Annual Hydrogen Conference provides the setting and context for Hydrogen Expo US. Under the motto "Global Progress Toward Clean Energy" the conference is designed to capture technology results while considering the drivers to diverse visions. ”Hydrogen Week” as it is sometimes called will encompass five days of technical, business and visionary sessions, as well as targeted workshops and award programs.
