In July 2007 the turnovers of the circuit board manufacturers was almost 1% below that of the previous month, as reported by the Verband der Leiterplattenindustrie [Association of the Circuit Board Industry] and the ZVEI-Fachverband Electronic Components and Systems. For the month of July this is the third-best result since the year 2000. Traditionally almost 60% of the annual turnover is achieved in the first 6 months so that up to the end of the year a similarly high volume is expected as in the previous year. The orders received in July were 10% below those of the previous year. Cumulated this was 7% less than the first 6 months of 2006.
