Gleichmann & Co. Electronics GmbH, with headquarters in Frankenthal, Germany has taken over the British NEC distributor Sunrise Electronics Ltd. for an unnamed sum. Ian Davidson, previously the Managing Director of Sunrise Electronics Ltd. will remain in the same position in the later planned incorporation of the British subsidiary Gleichmann Electronics UK Ltd. into the new subsidiary Gleichmann-Sunrise Ltd. with 24 employees. The Gleichmann-Sunrise Ltd. will move into its headquarters in Cosgrove, Milton Keynes.
