The Harting Group with its headquarters in Espelkamp, Ostwestfalen, closed its business year 2005/2006 in September (cut-off date 30.9.2006). Worldwide the company achieved a turnover of 313 M Euro and thus managed an increase compared to the previous year of 17.2% (previous year 267 m. Euro). In the past year the company added to its workforce mainly in other countries. By the 30th September 2006, the number of employees climbed to 2.434, an increase of 14.4%. In the annual average the number of employees increased by 14% to 2,382. The number of employees in foreign countries rose from 654 in the business year 04/05 to 994.
