Dr Rolf Winter has been appointed Managing Director of the newly established ZVEI trade association “Electrical Winding & Insulation Systems“ in Germany. In 2002, after working in the field of mechanical engineering and plant construction, the Physicist with a PhD in Electrical Engineering started his career with the ZVEI as a technical consultant for the trade association “Electronic Components”.

Today, as Deputy Managing Director of the ZVEI trade association “Electronic Components and Systems”, he supervises various quality committees in the field of Automotive Hardware, the “Automotive Control Circuit”, and since September 2009 he has also been the Managing Director of the ZVEI trade association “Power Capacitors”.

The trade association “Electrical Winding & Insulation Systems“ emerged from the “Supply Industry Platform” which was started as an initiative in the ZVEI in 2007. In 2009 Winter took over the development work for the now newly established trade association.
