Kemet has announced the release of several new part types in its GR900 high reliability ceramic capacitor series. The devices offer higher capacitance values for the company’s defence and aerospace customers. Kemet produces GR900 high reliability ceramic capacitors under tightly-controlled manufacturing processes. The capacitors achieve state-of-the-art performance by virtue of carefully selected materials, robust designs, and meticulous inspection throughout the process.

The additions to the series have allowed the company to extend capacitance offerings in the same package, therefore saving valuable board space as well as extending the portfolio of offerings into the 16V and 25V rated ranges. Termination options for the new series include100% tin (Sn Plated), 100% gold (Au Plated), 70Sn/30Pb (Solder plated), and 70Sn/30Pb (Solder coated). The ceramic capacitors are available with capacitance values ranging from 4.7pF right up to 1,000,000pF.
