High-speed USB with integrated Phy 23-11-06


MosChip Semiconductor Technology (sales: Actron) has begun shipment of mass production units of two new devices, MCS7840 and MCS7820 and evaluation boards. The MCS7840 integrates four Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitters (UARTs) and a High-speed USB compliant device interface in a single 64-pin package. The MCS7820 provides two UARTs and a High-speed USB compliant device interface in a single 48-pin package. MosChip will be supporting its bridge solution with complete software support including embedded firmware, drivers for Windows 98, 2000, XP and Vista as well as Wince, Linux and MacOS, and evaluation boards and copy-ready schematics.
